DragonCartel’s Attendance Rules:

Your loot priority, guild rank, and guild membership are determined by your attendance rating. Attendance is earned by showing up ontime to scheduled guild raids and staying through the end of the scheduled raid. Guild Ranks also help determine raid slots. All attendance is updated immediately after a raid and can be viewed here: Attendance

During the scheduled raid hours, you are required to be online and in raid. If you do not get a slot for the current fight and you have an alt, you can play it but make sure you tell a raid leader that your main is still available and stay in vent. If you're asked to step into the zone and you are not in vent, you wll be removed from the raid and not receive attendance for the kill. Attendance is taken at the scheduled start time sharp and after every boss kill. We may also take another role call towards the end of teh night if it is a progression/wiping night.

If you can not raid 4 nights a week, we are not the guild for you. We have a casual schedule, but people that can not meet the schedule are typically removed from the guild. We aim to maintain only 35-40 active players in the guild at all times. If you are given a spot in the guild, it is because we need you in the raid. If you can not meet a decent minimum attendance, your spot will be recruited and most likely you will be removed from the roster.

The active guild ranks are as follows:

Kin - Full Raid Member. First priority on loot, first priority on raid slots.
Whelp - Casual Raid Member. Second priority on loot and raid slots.
Egg - New member.
Trial- Applicant
DragonSoup - Non raiding guild member. Any existing member(non applicant) that falls below 50% attendance.

Trial Period:

Upon entry to the guild you will be given a Trial rank. During this period you will receive limited loot rights and your performance will be under review. You can roll on items that drop but cannot beat an active guild rank regardless of DKP.

At the end of your review period , you will be given an active guild rank of Egg if your performance and attendance meets expectations. If not, then you will either be given a chance to try your initiation period over or removed from the roster.

Whats Expected of a trial member:

1. Be on time and do not miss raids. Even if it is unlikely that you will get a raid spot, your attendance is at stake and we may in fact need to rotate you in for a certain fight. Be in vent, be ontime, and listen to the fights- you might get called in at anytime.

2. Do your best and come prepared. We do look at stats, we do look at buffs/flasks, we do look at specs, dps, tps, and hps.

All of these things will help determine wether you make it as a full member. Know the fights in advanced and don't be afraid to ask questions about a boss fight. We would rather explain it to you before the pull then after the wipe.

Promotions/Demotions

Your rank will be adjusted every sunday before raid time to reflect your current attendance rating(which is updated daily). We do expect all players to aim for 85% + attendance to retain a raid spot. Repeated unexcused absences will cost you your guild/raid spot. Once you have reached Kin, you will have access to a daily reimbursement fee for raiding that is available through guild bank.

DKP

Dragon Kill Points are awarded solely on boss kills. Members that have class overlap and do not get slotted for the night receive full DKP and attendance credit for waiting. We do sometimes need to rotate classes/specs for specific fights, you will be rewarded in full if you are swapped in or out for a particular fight that requires more/less of a certain class. We understand no one likes waiting outside, but the people that wait outside are just as valuable as those inside. Please be patient in this regard. Even our senior members will sit out on certain fights because they may require 5 tanks and others only need 3.

Bonus DKP will be awarded for guild first boss kills. These are the nights you do not want to miss. Bonus DKP is the reward for the nights of wipes we have to spend learning instead of farming. You do not want to miss first kill nights as they will benefit you greatly.

Loot Distribution

When an item drops, all interested parties should do a /roll 100 in raid chat after the item is linked. This will indicate a Need roll. The highest rank with the most DKP will be awarded the drop. If no one rolls, then a greed roll will follow. DKP is still charged for greed rolls.
Non purchased items will be guild banked/de’d for guild bank.

Alts

Alts are not accepted into the guild until you receive full raiding rank which constitutes 85% attendance. Some senior members/officers do have alts that transferred with their mains. Some exceptions are and have been made, but generally speaking members will not be allowed to bring their alts into guild.

Drama Rules

Our basic rule on drama is zero tolerance. If you cause it in guild chat, general chat, or the WoW forums you will receive one warning and a DKP penalty. The next time it happens, it will be the last.
